It beer production capacity is 1 million tons, with total investment assets RMB5 billion and net assets RMB1.64 billion. It is ranked among top 520 Key National Companies, top 3 national beer brands, one of the provincial and municipal large-scale group companies and Guangzhou authorized state assets operating companies.   In recent years, the Group Company has realized extreme growth through deepening state enterprise reformation and implementation of new strategies. In the national beer industry, the sales volume of Zhujiang Beer is ranked number two. It is ranked top 3 in company scale, tax payment and total profits, with tax contribution RMB330,000 per capita, number one in the whole nation. Zhujiang Beer is of high quality, popular in consumers. Zhujiang Beer and Xuebao Beer are appointed as "State Banquet Special Beer".   The Group Company carefully implements the important theory of "Three Represents", closely depends upon leadership of Guangzhou City Party Committee and Guangzhou City Government.   For the purpose of further development, the Group Company started structural reformation since the end of 2001. After assets restructuring, the Group Company combined other six promoters, including foreign investment, private company, strategic investor and technical authoritative organization, with its operational assets related to beer business, set up Guangzhou Zhujiang Beer Stock Co., Ltd on January 1, 2003. The stock company is now in the coaching period for listing in the stock market and aims to get listed in 2004. With the strategic transfer from product operation to brand operation and assets operation, the Group Company aims to increase its production capacity of 1.5 million tons in the "Tenth-Five Year Period", and the beer output to 4-5 million tons till 2010, with sales revenue RMB20 billion, with an effort to make Zhujiang Beer an international famous brand.
